Yes, everyone knows about proxies. Not everyone is comfortable with them.

In any case, I'm asking whether anyone has a problem. It's likely the draft will slow considerably whether the clock is on or not.

It's a holiday and I'm thinking we should treat it as such.

I think having the clock off is fine for this weekend. But, it would be best if individuals know they will be away, just give a heads up. For example, I'll be unavailable Friday from 4:30 - 8 PM and Sunday from 9- 1:30. I'll try to have proxies in, but there are 22 picks between mine and I need to rework my plans between picks.

Excellent response Spider.
Nothing worse than hitting refresh constantly.
Or is that only me? Ha!

I'll be away Th, F, and Sa from 7:30pm - 10pm
Sunday pretty much all day. Might have some time in the earlyish morning and around 2.

I know Milleram has family in town tonight so he might be done for a while.

It would be nice if things did move along a little quicker, but for whatever reason, that doesn't seem to happen.

I have to use proxies because of the time zone where I live. If I didn't use proxies, you would be constantly waiting for me and I would be horrified about that. As a result, you will almost never be waiting for me.

It's understandable that people are sometimes unavailable. (But isn't that what proxies are for?).

Anyway, rant complete. In the big picture, it makes no difference whether the draft takes three days or ten days.

I had a friend who recently died at the age of 49 from a melanoma. Life is short. Try to enjoy every day. And if you live in Australia (which has the highest rate of skin cancer in the world), make sure you get your skin checked regularly.

It's opening day and the Blue Jays won. So that's a good thing.

So I know Milleram has family there all weekend, and it looks like JTJ is somewhat indisposed as well ---
Therefore, should we all just assume we won't be drafting at all this weekend, and clock starts again on Monday (even though Monday is also a holiday in CA?)

All is good in my world though, looks like the Giants lost their first game, on the way to a hopefully 0-162 season! (Something I root for each and every season!)

Hope everyone enjoys your Easter and prayers to all of you!

Yes! Happy Easter everyone! :D

Actually, I'm sure the draft will chug along at a slow clip. Outside of Sunday I'm pretty available. I know Milleram isn't going to be fast, but I would be surprised if he doesn't pop in sooner or later when he's up.

In fact, you're up. :)

As for the Giants. Typical Dodger fan. Can't root for their own team, have to take shots at a team they didn't even play yesterday.
