rough night. Got lucky to win one. Left 11 on in the first game. RISP in 6 of the 9 innings. 1 hit in 13 AB that scored a runner. Lost Bell for 2 games and the next inning they get a single and an error against the replacement for a run. ugh. When you lose 4-3 that's big. Won't have Bell or Baddoo for the next game. Jeep lost Alonso for a couple of games too and hasn't had Severino yet.

In the second game, we left 9 on base ( to be fair Jeep left 7). Once again leaving RISP in six innings, 2 for 14 RISP. Scored a couple on ground outs to stay in the game and finally got some big hits with some big breaks:
1-7 single
Error on his 2e19 3b
CF x single on his 2e4 CF
The go ahead run scored on an actual clean 1-8 single**

Got super lucky to salvage a win. With deGrom looming in game six, game five is a must win for us.

We were lucky to steal one on the road last night.

On a separate side note, there is a 24 man auto league forming. 7 in there so far. Would love to see all of you in there!

Didn't look like luck to me (9-4). Let's see - I'm 1-7 in the Swingers' park and must win 3 straight (last two in their place). I'm not in a great spot currently. :(

Tie game in the 8th. Two out Alfaro (w power against RHP) hit's a 1-4 HR (flyout the rest) to win the game. UGH. Of course, we scored 2 of our runs on another error by Moncada and a PB so....Just needed one more break to win this one.

gotta beat degrom now. Doesn't look good for us. We do play at home and Suarez is good, but he's not as good as degrom. Going to have to roll A LOT on our own card.

Can't complain about LOB in this game, only had 4.

must win 3 straight
Well you got one Spider. I have to win 2 like you.

We've made it to game 7against the Swingers. It took 11 innings and 22 Ks (Rodon -15, Loup- 1, Floro = 6) to make it. Diaz's sac fly to deep center brought in Judge to put us up 1, then a tired Floro held on in the bottom of the 11th to close.

It looks like a Houck - McCullers rematch for game 7.

Good luck, it has been a great series!

Congrats to Jeep. We really had to win against your 3 and 4 SPs and we lost one of them when we left a ton OB. deGrom was just too good in the other games. And we weren't good enough to match that.

I'm hoping we will actually win another NLD some year. We've lost nine playoff appearances in a row including six of those seasons with the best record. We're a bunch of chokers in the playoffs I guess. Our winning pct in the playoffs is 14.8% which is just a little ahead of Smoke and Korkie (14.3%) and we got a ways to go to catch Silver who lost in his last 14 playoff series so at least we're not the most pathetic in the playoffs.

Not taking anything away from Jeep's fine team, just frustrating to never get over the top.....

Congrats, Spider! You blew us out last night! Good luck to you and Jeep in the finals!

Been up 3-1 multiple times this set only to lose. What do you do?

That blow out was a huge surprise. The injury bug hit you hard for the series, losing Rogers, Canha, Altuve, and Castellanos at various points, which was a tough handicap. For our team, Schwarber, Estrada and Jankowski went crazy in game 7 with 3 HRs each. We were lucky to come out on top of a very good klx team.

Wow. Hard to believe. You were so good at home.

Losing after up 3-1 is harder than what I had to deal with sorry KLX. :(
