Each Team with a +1 if they're better in a given park than the other team playing in that park (i.e. rated against all teams at home, but only the home team when on the road) -1 if they are worse. If they are effectively the same nothing is done.

See previous page for the details in each park.

Code: Select all
Team…   Adv   Div
miller.   22   W
JTJ....   15   W
Semper.   7   C
Spider.   3   C
Stoney.   1   W
randal.   -1   C
toshiro   -2   W
Jeep...   -2   E
KLX....   -3   E
Dale...   -12   E
Hawk...   -14   E
Big A..   -14   C

West is at the top as expected. East at the bottom.

Some interesting things to note here, the best teams at home are:
Miller 11
JTJ 10
Stoney 10
Toshiro 8
Semper 8

Road Teams
Miller 11
JTJ 8
semper 5

The home/road rankings really perked my interest.

Just a little Hal whining from me--but generally, the last 3 years or so, I can't win on the road at all. (not even .500)

It got so bad that the last few months in particular (about when 69 was released) I have concentrated on being better road team--and I see little or no difference in Home/Road win pct.--even though I should have bashed some of the LH park teams in particular in various leagues. Probably it's me.

Strat says a 1% advantage for home teams online--but feels like at least 10% to me.

idk, if you're above .500 on the road it seems like you must be doing something right. At least in the NLD.

1% more rolls might lead to 10% more wins? Especially if they're HRs?

Meanwhile, I'm not sure my injuries are high overall, but I keep losing guys I need to face the few LH pitching teams we're going to face. I have a weakness on the corner OF in my backups v LHP and it seems like every time I lose a corner OF, I end up facing a ton of LHP. Ugh! For example. Lost Bryant for six and four of the six games involve facing a LHSP. Not sure I've faced Semper with my entire lineup. Oh well. We'll muddle through.

I like Joe's rating of my team much better than I like my team. Sitting at the bottom of the league with plus 14 run diff and down 12 in 1-run games is a bit discouraging. I dumped 12 of my 19 blown save guys and Sulser (who has looked good early) blows one last night.

yeah, seems like there's always one team that under performs their rating and one that over performs. This time we have a couple of under performers. I haven't broken it down to see what the reasons for the differences are. I know one run games tend to affect it greatly.

Hawk...   +1%   -14%   -9   +1   +1.1%   86%   -14   -4

Luckiest teams so far:

toshiro - way ahead in both bp numbers, especailly HRs where he's almost 3x the std deviation. Mitigated somewhat by a bad one run record, but been extremely lucky with injuries.

Dale - up in bpsi and one run games by a long way.

Unlucky:
Hawk, spider and JTJ

Hawk - very unlucky with bphr. one run games and unearned runs also unlucky
Spider - bphrs, *really* bad in one run games and predictably in win diff to pythag
JTJ- both bps are bad. HRs particularly so. Also a ton of injuries (I thought so, but this confirms)

Fielding

It's a little wonky because most teams have a lot of long injury players.

Spier is way off in a negativ way.

Semper and Randal are to the good . A lt of other differenceces, but most aren't extreme

As predicted my team has tanked as soon as posting he ratings. lost 6 in a row and 9 of 11. Mulllins comes back from a 3 game injury (his max) and in the first game back we lose him for 2 more. <sigh>

Worst fielding team in the league, but turned 6 DP tonight in G3 vs klx. HEHE.
Gumby's getting hot now though, so not liking my chances to catch him. Hope my league best division record holds true though.... but not feeling confident.

Frick, Stoney definitely has my number. :( we're 5-10 and he's outscored us by 21 runs! And, he's last in the league in runs scored he's scored 1/8 of his runs in the 12% of the games against us. Ugh.

I know we've played him a couple of times when we had injuries, but tonight he didn't his corner OFers and he still took 2. Guess I should be happy to get one!

As Krukow says "Ownage is ownage. He's got some serious ownage on us so far this season. Glad there are only 9 more on the schedule.
