I forgot to mention in the league email that Prospects don't need to be promoted until they've played in a MLB game. I won't be policing this, btw. Honor system I guess. I've only been in the league a couple of years. What was the reasoning behind this rule?

Also, 10 prospects are the max on a squad.

The rules define a prospect as any player without MLB experience. Any player who has not had a MLB IP or AB prior to the current season (2024) starting as being eligible for the draft. So that would include Yamamoto, current college players who have not yet been drafted, international prospects, etc... But a guy like Junior Caminero who had a couple of AB's late last season would be inelligible.

Prospect Draft (4 Rounds; anyone without MLB experience is eligible)
