FYI, here's a message I just sent to JF, who is shown as the commish for the Premier Div...

Hey JF, please go into the league settings for the Premier Div and change the start date to Monday, 12/27. The Turtle loaded his team too late for that to happen automatically, but we can fix that.

On the league page, click on "Edit your league settings", and then halfway down the resulting page, click on "Edit this" for the Season Start Date.

Thanks!

Question: for owners with 2 teams, what do we do the day that two of our teams are in the same division because of their rankings ?

OWNERS WITH MULTIPLE TEAMS
1) Owners may own 2 or 3 teams, if they wish, as long as the teams play in separate divisions.
2) No trades will be allowed between teams with the same owner.
3) If promotion or relegation places 2 teams with the same owner in the same division, then 1 of the teams must be traded to another owner. If there are no willing trade partners, then 1 of the teams must be dropped.

I love the early season stat lines. This is one of my favorite ever:

After the first series, Brandon Belt leads our league with 7 runs scored. He has 7 at bats.

AA Division reminds me of the old Pacific Coast League pattern, with great hitting and poor pitching.

Average team OPS is .827 (with a high of .907) and average team ERA/WHIP stand at 5.54/1.48 (with a low of 7.11/1.72).

The other 2 divisions are both good pitch/no hit, closer to MLB team stats, with pitching slightly better than MLB and hitting slightly worse.

Forgot to post this yesterday...

At the midway mark in the season, we have good pennant races going in both the Premier and AAA divisions. Unctarheel leads the top one with 49 wins and go4joe leads the other with 51.

The only runaway race appears to be in AA, where jodynadu leads with 55. In a league with great hitting and no pitching, jody's squad has a team OPS just south of .900!
