With 21 games to go, it looks like most of the races are almost wrapped up.

Premier: unctarheel looks like the champ at the top of the table, and both relegations are already determined

AAA: go4joe has beaten off the competition and will likely take the title; the other promotion and 1 of the relegations are still in play, though

AA: jodynadu has a solid lead on 1st, and he and thisisray will be promoted to AAA

In an amazing turnaround at the top of the table, we've got a tie for the lead in the premier division, going into the last night. Canberra's been in 1st place since game 2 but has just suffered through a 6-game losing streak. At the same time, Arrakis is on a 6-game winning streak and has won 12 of the last 13.

Stay tuned for an exciting finish...

The results are in! Congrats to our champions: unctarheel, go4joe, and jodynadu. For those who don't seek out the separate league pages, highlights were as follows:

PREMIER DIVISION

95-67 unctarheel
94-68 jflatour99/Fremens
91-71 The Turtle
83-79 paul j kiggins
64-98 padrenurgle1 -- to AAA next season
59-103 jmlopp/Warriors -- to AAA next season

Team results in Premier were very similar to MLB, although the pitching was slightly better, with team OPS of .729 (vs. .740 in MLB), ERA/WHIP of 4.09/1.28 (vs. 4.44/1.33), and 209 HR per team (vs. extrapolated 207).

Individual highlights included Jose Iglesias batting .373, with 217 hits, including 83 doubles, and RP Nick Anderson being named MVP, with 53 saves.

AAA DIVISION

100-62 go4joe -- to Premier next season
93-60 tcochran/Stars -- to Premier next season
87-75 ironwill1
77-85 mesacat (won head-to-head)
77-85 jmlopp/Mafia -- to AA next season
52-110 baseball cfo -- to AA next season

Pitching was slightly more dominant in AAA, with team OPS of .714 and ERA/WHIP of 3.90/1.23, although HR per team were higher at 237.

MVP Sam Huff led the individual performances all season, with 48 doubles and 67 HR.

AA DIVISION

110-52 jodynadu -- to AAA next season
101-61 thisiray -- to AAA next season
72-90 tcochran/Next Year
71-91 Terry101
68-94 jflatour99/Atreides
64-98 oldmansmith2

Like the old Pacific Coast League, hitting was the name of the game in AA, with team OPS of .818 and ERA/WHIP of 5.44/1.46. And there was an average of 302 HR per team!

There were many stunning individual performances, including MVP Matt Olson with 74 HR, Willi Castro batting .385, and Randy Arozarena with 154 runs, 190 RBI, and 50 HBP. Even with all of the hitting in the league, Daniel Castano stood out, too, with a unique 20-0 W/L record.

Congrats to all on a great first year in the Ted Lasso League. See you all on August 1 for the start of the annual draft.
