Haven't come on here much due to this team has been so frustrating. I know I'm not going into detail here, but a lot of bad luck. A plus .500 record since the enormous transactions I made gives us a slight bit of hope.

Yeah, you made quite a few moves Jeep. You're down 3 mil in cap now.

What was the goal of the changes?

Ah crap! I lost Giolito for 10 games. !$#^#^!&!$&$@!@&**

And Friggin' Stoney won't ever lose! He's won 11 of 13.

Game back of Stones and a three game series with him at my place. Got Giolito back in time for this series. Unfortunately we're missing Gonzalez, but such is SOM.

Hoping to keep pace with the Stoney juggernaut.

Looks like Giolito should have stayed on the DL for a bit longer as Stoney crushed him (and Matzek) in game one. 10-3

We returned the favor against Gausman in game two 9-0.

Game three was actually a close one we squeaked it out 3-1. Stones left the tying run at 1b in the 9th. Hatch with the safe. Sea Lions and Phanatics tied for first.

Well, we've reached the mid-point of the season. It will be interesting to see who, if anyone, makes moves before the price goes up. If you do, please chime in here with your thoughts if you don't mind.

Some thoughts on the league so far. Note on all of these comments, we're only 1/2 way through so anything could change.

East
A close race with only one team over .500 and no team with a positive run diff.
Interesting to note that Bia A is worse at home than on the road, but Spider and Miller are very much liking the home cooking. Dale isn't extreme either way.

Central
Shaping up as a two team race with toshiro and Semper getting some separation. They are also the only two teams with positive run diffs. In addition, they are VERY good in one run games while Hawk, in particular is not.
toshiro's 10 game win streak earlier put him on top and he's maintained since and has the best record in the league at present.

West
Another one looking at a two team race. JTJ and Stoney have been battling it out for first Since around game 40 when both had long winning streaks. They've cooled off since, but maintain a lead.
klx has been a bit unlucky, having the 4th best run dif, but 9 below .500 and 12 back. Going 8-17 in one run games will do that do you. He's also 14 below on the road.

Well, that's what I see from a quick glance at the standings.

I think in our division anyway, the first team to go on a 10-2 or 9-3 run might separate themselves. My defense and starting pitching has been challenged. Now with Turner out for another 15 games we lose a good bat. Should be interesting as all teams have a negative run differential.
