Since there's only 81 games left, that's almost 20% of the games he won't play. Could cash him out, would only cost you $180,000 if you did it today. Chapman might not be a bad pick ( although you'd waste $120,000 since he's only $3.3Mil ). But Chapman doesn't have any ballpark hits, which are wasted in Petco anyways. Just a thought.

We took a 7-3 lead to the 9. Had two outs and a man on first for Spider. Walk, single and then a double by Wallach off of Richards ties the game.

After we don't score in the 9th, he scored FIVE runs in the 10th on HRs by Castro and Contreras (all against a F0 Richards) with NO ONE out and somehow Richards stops them at five runs.

Game over Right?

Haggerty clears the bases with a 3-5 straight double and he gets thrown out going to third.

After Richards (still f0) allows only one runner to the top of Spider's lineup in the 11th, Dietrich leads off with a 2-6 no doubter to end it.

That is one CRAZY game.

I think in our division anyway, the first team to go on a 10-2 or 9-3 run might separate themselves. My defense and starting pitching has been challenged. Now with Turner out for another 15 games we lose a good bat. Should be interesting as all teams have a negative run differential.


Or someone could take themselves out of it with a long losing streak. Spidey is at 7 games right now.

No one made any moves before the 81 game mark. I have to say I'm surprised by that.

I think I will take you up on that. I think I will pick up Kiner-Falefa. Good bat against LHP and stellar defense. Lose a little offense but defense upgrade might help. Our division is a mess so maybe I can make a run.

Making a note to self, no "4's" on defense, Cano, Turner, and Brantley. Would take a massive offensive output to overcome the cement hands for gloves. :(

Oh man, wish you got it in last night for only a 5% penalty vs 10% today. Oh well. Not best timing for me I guess, since I face you tonight with 2 LHP and Falefa is a 5L. Me and my big mouth!

Wow, lost a close one and then Hawk just CRUSHED my pitching in the last two tonight. Ouch.

Hatch was pitching pretty good for me, but over his last 18 IP, covering 11 games he's been torched for 25 ERs. That's an astounding 12.50 ERA! Oh, and 24 hits plus 19 walks and a 2.4 WHIP!

Even if you rolled every single roll on the hitter's card you woudln't expect something that pathetic. Wow. That's a crazy bad stretch.

Still chasing Stoney and got a big series and I'm missing Seager and Schoop for two game and tatis for the first one. Ouch.

Injuries happen to all of us, but, boy, you hope they don't happen when you're playing the team a game ahead of you!

Well, the backups did well enough in the first two games to lead us to a sweep. Hard to believe to be honest.

Won 1-0 in the second game with Gonzalez getting the only RBI of the game v a RHP on a LFx v Tapia.

Scored 7 runs in game 1 with Help from Haggerty DHing for Seager and going 3-4 with an RBI and 2 runs. McMahon also had an rbi.

Had everyone back for Game 3.

Three HRs against Snell tonight. Predictable right? EXCEPT all three were on our cards! LOL

Also have 4 against Bauer and only 1 was on his card.

Tatis got his 30th HR tonight. Needs 6 more SBs to be a 30/30 guy.

WS Note: How in the HE** does Rosario not dive for that ball? WTF. Maybe Bregman still gets a hit, but it changes EVERYTHING.
