I just finished my 2nd cup which is probably the only reason I noticed it.

Just as few observations:

1 - people are being very conservative with their Stadium choices.
2 - Only "VALUE" pick was in the NL with Daniels....rest are pretty much high $'s at their respective positions
3 - I'm enjoying this. Hope the actual league is just as exciting !

Some reminders and house cleaning:

1 - if you have not done so, please enter the league you are assigned. This way we can CHAT.
2 - Peterle will set a date for everyone to be marked READY so we can launch together. I'm guessing 48 hours after we finish this part...but TBD.
3 - Remember divisions will be RANDOMIZED

Questions, hit me here.

It was just me who F'd you? :o 8-)

None of the other 22 managers in our league took any players you may have wanted? ;)

My 1 pick before you was Brett... and I can't believe he was available at the #42 pick. I was staring at Brett and holding my breath from the #33 pick where Kaviksdad chose Simmons while 8 consecutive picks went NL until my pick FINALLY came up!

Hey pacoboy, Ed Seward (1888) is on the AL pitcher list. Since the AL didn't start until 1901, this is obviously a mistake. Are AL teams allowed to draft him?

I'm asking for opinions on my Jackie Robinson Memorial Leagues and would love to hear from you. I've set up a separate thread for discussion purposes. The idea is to break the color barrier all at once, with PRE franchises, to see what effect a modern owner might have had on those clubs. Please comment freely and give me your opinions.

The Rules committee has decided:

Seward can be used. At this point, unless the error is quite obvious like Randy Johnson, we will allow the player to be used.

Since NL is using Ross Barnes ( Although he did play for NL later but no card for that year), We further think AL should be allowed to use Seward.

Feel free to use Seward for the AL.
