I think you have to renew Rojas at 0.85 as that is his current salary with you.

Keller and Anderson need to go up to $700,000

ARB1 guys have to be renewed at $2M (Hernandez and Ferguson).....see the above post where I had to bump Urias up to $2M ...same deal here.

gotcha
Thanks

Salary Cap Mismanagers 2021 Contracts:

Cuts:
Tim Hill
Shed Long
Mike Tauchman
Bryan Reynolds
Lou Trivino
Masahiro Tanaka

You don't have to do anything with Tanaka. You can cut him after the season, but you will still be responsible for his remaining salary. We are only deciding about pre-arb and arb eligible players right now.

I think you can sign Story for $6.86M.

No, Story has to be signed to an extension at his current salary if the current salary is higher than the contract extension salary. Players cannot have their salaries cut through contract extensions.

dharmabums,

I think I have them all.

I think you are missing John Camargo. He can be cut, renewed at $3 mil, or taken to arbitration.

Regarding Shohei Ohtani,

I'm renewing his contract for $2M. This year in MLB it looks like he might get carded as a pitcher and a hitter. I'm assuming I could use both cards next year, yes? I'm assuming both cards would count for one roster spot in both my 40-man team roster and my 26-man league rosters, yes? If I decided to take him to arbitration instead, which card would be his official salary? Either? Both?

It's a very odd situation. What's are other people's opinions?

Strat will only let you roster either the pitching or hitting card.

but if you own the player you can send the pitching card down and bring up his hitting card....only 1 card on roster solved....in regards to contract if you have a player that can play 2 positions add the 2 contracts together...divide by 2.......fair way of doing it

I think most keeper leagues back in 2018 allowed Ohtani to be used this way but it does come with a high price. If he starts 28 games in the first 141, that will be 56 games where his hitting card will not be available to be used. And at that point the game will not allow you to make changes anymore so you'll have to decide which card stays up for the rest of the season.
