I remember when I moved out here, I was dating a girl and her folks lived in Palm Springs.
We visited them for the weekend, in the summer, and her dad and I played golf.
We had a 6am tee off time on a Saturday. I was pissed that we had to play so early.
By 8am it was already 100 degrees and when we finished, it was 112.
Came home, drank a gallon of water and then dove into the luke warm pool.
Ah, sound like my 6 years working in Scottsdale, AZ. Many of the elite golf courses had 50% off golfing in the dead of summer for afternoon tee-offs. I remember playing Greyhawk at the end of July in 116 heat. Luckily the HOT girl driving the refreshment cart was wearing almost nothing. Made the 18 holes tolerable.
