I propose that we expand the initial prospect draft to four players rather than three. Please respond with your vote.

Section 4.06    All rule changes must pass by a super majority - 8 owners or more.

so I think this already has 5 NO votes. as I said before, I'm ok with adding the 4th pick in future years if we want to do that. may want to throw that out for a vote after we get done with all this.

Phil, there are a bunch of players who have, say, 3.0 years of service but are rounded up in the Cots list to 4. Is that correct? Or should the players at least be at the .1 fraction to be rounded up to next year? If it’s the latter, then there are a lot of errors in the Cots spreadsheet for purposes of our rules. Please clarify thanks

at this point I think we have to go with what it says as that would change a lot of people's picks.

however, make sure to check as there are still some that are way off (for example Will Smith of SF says 1 year of service on avail pitchers sheet but is actually 7 on cots sheet)

I’m assuming 3.0= 4 years, and 2.9=3 years because we’ve been drafting this way without anyone seeking clarification on the Cots spreadsheet but I’m confused perhaps by an earlier rule or thread discussion, so if you can verify I’d appreciate it. In sum I assume your Cots spreadsheet is correct but would like verification
