New Keep A Dozen league chat/trades/trade talk

Hello Keep A Dozen players,

It's time to start a new league thread. We'll be using this thread for trade discussion, other discussion (maybe you have questions or whatever), drafts, or any announcements that need announcing. Basically everything. I'll be importing any trades that are still relevant (incomplete) and some other important info from the other thread in time.

I'll be very busy at home today so I probably won't get to any questions until Friday.

When can the rest of us change stadiums? I’d prefer to draft stadiums before the FA draft. This league has never had a proper rule for stadiums, so perhaps we should vote?

i believe the 3 who joined the league were given the choice to change stadiums if after that anyone else who wants to change should be allowed in reverse order of finish is how most leagues do it.

Understood. The question I raised is whether that happens before or after the FA draft.

should be before draft so owners can build their team to fit ballpark...just my 2 cents

Other leagues allow GM's to announce that they wish to change ballparks at end of season before next draft.The order is determined by order of finish from Last to 1st. YOU do not have change parks from the 1 you already have. I can if you like make a list of all stadiums and Owners and all they have to say is a yes or no to the question if they want to stay or move.

I'm taking a quickie break here to address the Stadium issue. First, thank you Paul for starting that here. I did send an email a couple days back to the three new folks and their right to keep or draft a new Stadium - and in what order.

After the new guys are done keeping or drafting a new ballpark the rest of us may start with the Stadium draft (in reverse order of finish for season 2). So yes, before the FA draft. If everyone's cool with that. If not, we'll take a vote.

My preference is we may draft new ballparks once every calendar year in the Spring right before the FA draft. If there's disagreement about that we could take a vote. Not a problem.
