The vote went 6-5-1 for random divisions. So i created a new league to make that work. Pull your team out of the original league and enter it into league with same name, but 1R after the dash. Password also: third base

There are 10 teams in that one right now.

Thanks.

I did this league three different CYCLES when it was called "ONE SHOT GIG" run by Kevin, it was $130 DH.

Has it been about 3 years since the last iteration (about when Kevin passed away)?

3 cheers for Kevin.....thanks so much Mike for picking up the flag....by far my favorite continuing league.

Nice job getting the league loaded, everyone. I sent a note to Strat requesting they work their magic. Goreds, keep an eye on the league. As soon as you see "preseason" in the Status column, you are free to begin building your team. When you are done tinkering, please leave a note here and in the league mail so emart will know he's free to begin.

All drafters, remember to choose your stadium before you pass the baton to the next owner and post your pick in the mail and here. UNIQUE STADIUMS.

Interesting matchups in the divisions:
East - 2,4,6,7
Central - 5,8,9,11
West - 1,3,10,12

Isn’t there some caveat as to how many players you can draft and it prevents you from tinkering? I remember this was a problem in another draft I participated in similar to this.
Is there a limit to how many players we can and should draft?
And......should there not be a rule against hoarding the low dollar version of marquis players with the intent of deciding which to use later and discarding the others?

I don't remember there being specific anti-hoarding rules, but I remember is was BAD form to hoard 95 cent Duffy and 95 cent Joe Wood, etc. the intent was that your team you drafted was the team you intended on playing "AS-IS"....of course there was minor tinkering after all 12 teams drafted, but the group we had in the 3 cycles of ONE SHOT GIG, did NOT have any owners that screwed owners later in the draft by drafting players with the intent to trade (that would be BAD form)

I was in several of these leagues with nomadbrad, Frank, Andy and PJMB, and we didn't have any rules about hoarding; it just wasn't done - period. Gentlemen's rules and we picked the cards we intended to use. There was never a problem.

That said, the roster size was 25 then, not 28. I suggest we limit the size of the roster to 25 during the initial draft, and then rosters can expand to 28 once everyone has selected.
