My comment on Jordan Hicks being dropped was both with a smile and my desire to have him on my team. I meant no offense. I drop and add all the time right up to the wire.

I spelled Hicks with Florio - it didn’t work out too well

I finally got around to getting Hicks on my squad. It cost me my LHP platoon ends - so be it.

Will see if upgrading with Shoemaker over my $1.06 Walmart is an improvement.

So, you'll have stonemitt Melky roaming in RF v LHP??? (or LF I suppose) or will it be Perez?

Shoemaker pitched well against me last night - although I came away with a nail-biter win.

Rivera had 4 HRs in last night's series against Semper's bunch - driving in 6 of my 7 runs. Otherwise my guys were anemic.

That brings up a good point, how is the money spread around on the teams???
Code: Select all
.......   Linup   Pit.   Bch   SPs..   RPs..   Tot
Big A..   39.4   37.2   3.3   22.55   14.67   79.95
Dale...   37.4   37.9   4.7   30.57   7.29   80.00
Doug...   44.2   29.1   6.7   17.53   11.55   79.92
KLX....   41.8   34.9   3.3   23.51   11.41   80.00
Miller.   42.9   31.2   5.9   16.73   14.45   79.92
jeep...   40.1   37.0   2.9   25.97   11.07   79.99
JTJ....   44.6   30.7   4.6   21.01   9.64   79.85
Falcon.   44.6   30.5   5.0   20.41   10.05   79.98
Semper.   44.7   28.8   6.2   11.98   16.80   79.66
Smokey…   46.1   30.2   3.3   17.44   12.73   79.59
Spider.   39.2   36.5   4.2   27.85   8.63   79.92
stoney.   36.8   36.5   6.7   24.36   12.09   79.91

Average   41.81   33.36   4.72   21.66   11.70   79.89

So, it would appear that you are on the lower end of spending on offense, but not at the bottom. Dale and Stoney are there.

This is such a weird game. We face deGrom without my entire starting lineup of Gamel, Betts, Haniger and we chase him after 2/3 of an inning.

Here's the lineup:

A. Barnes C
J. Wendle 2B
K. Morales 1B
M. Chapman 3B
C. Blackmon CF
M. Williamson RF
W. Difo DH 50
B. Swihart LF
O. Arcia SS

A regular Murderer's Row eh? ;)

Trust me, we had some bad luck too, for example Ramirez cannot buy a break, but we definitely had some things go our way there!

The interesting thing is that we got three hits off of his card (6-12, 4-5, 4-6) and a 2 base error by K Seager in four out of five straight die rolls. The only thing we got off of our card was a walk to Barnes to start the inning. In fact, all three outs in the inning were off of the hitter's cards! Weird huh?

I managed a rousing nine hits off the Accents last night - and still pulled off a win vs. Nola.

The East has the four lowest-scoring teams, so far. But three of the four teams are also heavily-invested in pitching - and we've played more than half of the games within the division.

I hate this card set. Have I said that before?

My team BA is .200. The actual cumulative BA of my players is .269. My OBP is .276 instead of .333. SLG is .337 instead of .449. OPS should be .781, but it's only .613.

NL MVP Christian Yelich hit .326 with 36 HR in 2018. For me he's at .191 with 3 HR. Yes, 3. And then there's Chris Carpenter, batting .135. I don't even have a good word to describe that. And there are others I won't bore you with.

I hate this card set. When do the 2019s come out?

I don't like this years set too much either but I will probably hate 2019 worse---Probably will be like softball with all the HR's.

A Quote from HAL in one of my game descriptions tonight---" After an out was recorded, A balk was stepped in and he called." I guess that's about as logical as anything HAL actually does.

Six 1-run losses in a row until a 2-run loss in the final game tonight.
