Some have played themes of mine like this in the past. As you can see, the Expos, Marlins, and Diamondbacks are not a part of Season ONE. You MAY place players on those rosters on your DRAFT CARD, but ONLY IF THEY PLAYED FOR YOUR FRANCHISE IN REAL LIFE. (And remember, other managers may be eyeing those guys too, so place them on your Draft Card accordingly.) Also, there are some players listed on ARI and FLA rosters who do not have ACTUAL CARDS yet, so they aren't available until those cards drop--let's hope mid-September on that.
Also, each franchise may carry ONE (and ONLY One) High Dollar Option. The ones listed with your franchise are YOUR OPTIONS ONLY until the AUTODRAFT runs. If you want to grab an unused High Dollar Option during Waivers, you may, but again, they must have PLAYED FOR YOUR FRANCHISE. High Dollar Options on the 3 "Rotated Out" Teams (MON, ARI, FLA) can be added to your AUTODRAFT CARD.
So, your Autodraft card is:
1--Players on Your Roster
2--Players on Rotated Out Teams who played for YOUR FRANCHISE
3--Any Other Players in the Pool who are NOT ON AN AMERICAN LEAGUE ROSTER but played for YOUR FRANCHISE (maybe a player who is in the pool for the NL League, like for example, Rickey Henderson, who played for the Padres, Dodgers, etc, but is not on an AL Roster)
WAIVERS can be:
1--Any player in the Free Agent Pool who played for your Franchise, remembering you can carry only ONE player over 6.5/3.5 limits (unless an ALLOWED card, i.e. Ellis Valentine's 6.55m card)
ALSO---Create your team using the ANDY'S 6.5 EXPANSION LEAGUE found in the Shuffles.
