My '5th' was happy, putting up 35 runs last night (sorry Spider), making my offense look like the offense I thought I drafted.

I needed a 5th on the 5th. Rucinski started his 2nd game due to Kershaw's 10-game injury. He only managed 2/3 inning combined in the two starts - none last night. My relievers faced a multitude of hitter when their Fs were 0. I don't really like this game. :(

Mostly just bumping this back to 1st page--but league looks competitive again.

The Preserves are preserving their offense for NLD 52.

Hey KLX, you reminded me. No ratings yet and I'm not sure I have everyone's lineups perfect (I think, however, I have the rosters correct).

Here are just the raw salary numbers.

Code: Select all
.......      Linup   Pit.   Bch      SPs..   RPs..   Tot
Big A..      61.8   35.2   3.0      20.80   14.35   99.97
Dale...      43.0   41.8   15.2      23.72   18.08   100.00
Doug...      55.8   38.7   5.6      22.66   15.99   99.97
KLX....      51.0   42.3   6.6      29.75   12.50   99.86
Miller.      40.1   43.0   14.3      26.91   16.13   97.42
jeep...      56.7   40.0   3.3      22.47   17.56   99.97
JTJ....      54.5   39.2   6.3      28.12   11.03   99.95
Falcon.      50.3   45.5   4.2      29.50   16.02   99.98
Semper.      51.0   40.4   8.6      20.62   19.74   99.91
Smokey…      54.6   36.3   9.1      20.83   15.45   100.00
Spider.      52.8   39.4   7.8      28.60   10.81   99.97
JFrost.      46.2   39.4   14.2      19.62   19.80   99.84

Average      51.47   40.09   8.18      24.47   15.62   99.74

So, KLX, you *are* a little below average in lineup $. That said, you're in first place so things must not be *that* bad. ;) 8-)

NLD 51 - Can I Get A Little Help Here?

Through 12 starts, Jacob deGrom and Noah Syndergaard have combined for an ERA of 1.85 and their WHIP is 0.877 over 92.1 IP. Yet their W-L is 5-6. Total Run Support in their 12 starts is 22 runs, or 1.83 RPG.

The rest of my starters are 6-4 with a 4.18 ERA and a WHIP of 1.234 in 4 less IP (88.1). That's because their Run Support is 5.67 RPG, more than triple what deGrom and Syndergaard are getting.

Oh, and to make it a little worse, playing home games in Minute Maid Park where HR chances are 1-8/1-11, deGrom and Syndergaard are 7/8 in allowing BPHR. The other starters are 3/8. The average BPHR of the away ballparks this far is just about the same as the home park, 1-9.0/1-11.25.

Sometimes I hate this game.

Yeah, statistical weirdness is always frustrating. It's still a SSS however.
