Once we are done drafting teams; we will continue the draft starting with Visick working backwards, and each team will draft 4 free agents. All players in the post WWII set are eligible free agents whether than on original or expansion franchises is irrelevant. However, you cannot draft a player from a franchise that has been picked: example nobody on the Mets can be picked because I chose them. Once the season starts though, if I choose not to use David Wright, he would be eligible for someone to pick up as a free agent, but you would have to drop one of your free agents to get him. A maximum of 4 free agents on any one roster at all times.
If an expansion franchise is not chosen, for example Rangers have yet to be taken, AROD and others on the Texas roster are immediately eligible to be in the free agent pool.
No NEL PLAYERS ELIGIBLE; Not sure why they are even in this WWII set!!! Again no NEL PLAYERS are eligible.
To Gamiam----as always you can use any card a player has: such as Fisk, you could use his Boston card if you drafted the Whitesox
It was my intention to use the original players from the start; I thought guys would want to have elite players in the league such as Bonds, Mantle and Maddox etc. But I did not want to build super teams. Each franchise has many glaring weaknesses so the fun part will be trying to fill the holes.
