sadly the untimed draft options have to be serpintine...so we will draft untimed on the board I will make a new thread.

I'd say no.

tough call. I'd say no too, I had woodward and dropped him bc he's only RP. the guys were drafted where they were in season one bc of the S rating, and not sure what decision on keeping or releasing was made with others.

I vote no. Their reliever status should have been a known issue for season 2, unlike season 1.

I vote yes. Those guys all actually started games in 2018, so why shouldn’t they be rated to start? If we’re concerned about distortions we should discuss usage limitations for players who had 150 AB’s in real life and accumulate 600 AB’s in our sim. Just look at the Stat leaders in our league for Season A and compare it to 2018 MLB stats. I am not above it all; I let/induced HAL into putting Lugo out for 274 innings in season A. Ignoring the fact that that is a rediculous amount of work for a pitcher in this day and age, when’s the last time a pitcher had 20 wins and 12 saves in real life?

I kept Lugo expecting to do the same thing again, but I’m good either way. That said, if the group wants to impose usage limits in 2020 I’m all for it.

I believe that we should continue to allow these players to start. Stratomatic is not perfect and this has been a part of the game since the beginning. I remember a friend of mine in the 70s used Bill Madlock at second base as a 4 max E because he played one inning at a game in Atlanta. Our Commissioner and most of the league were at the game so it couldn't be denied.
Furthermore, I believe that any changes should made after the second season before the new cards come out. A managers decisions are made based on current rules. If I make a decision, then the rules change, it is not fair to those managers. Set a specific set of dates in the leagues Constitution and negotiate there. For example, January 1-10. All concerns are to be addressed and voted on by current members. Simple majority carry's the day.
