That's an incredible (unbelievably lucky?) record at home.

I have to run, but I'll leave this here. This compares the ratings in each park for each team. If you're better you get +1, if worse -1

Code: Select all
Team…   Adv   Div
Smokey   20   C
Lance.   19   W
stoney   9   W
JTJ...   7   C
GBrook.   6   W
Doug..   5   E
Semper   0   C
big A.   -5   C
Spider.   -7   E
jeep...   -13   E
Dale..   -19   E
Falcon   -21   W

Ok, a little more analysis.

Here are the ratings for each team at home.

Some interesting things to note:
Dale and Falcon are not great in home park, neither is Jeep.
OTOH, Smokey, Smokes his park as does Falcon. Interestingly, Spider doesn't rate as good as the rating would indicate. GB and Stoney should be good at home also.

Code: Select all
Mangr   -   +   Equal
JTJ...   2   6   3
Big A.   5   4   2
Semper   4   4   3
Smokey   0   11   0
Jeep..   8   2   1
spider   6   5   0
Dale..   10   1   0
Doug..   2   7   2
Lance.   0   10   1
Gbrook   2   9   0
Falcon   10   0   1
Stoney   1   9   1

Ok, now for the road. Easier to read I think.

Smoke is, again great as in Lance. JTJ is OK
OTOH, Dale, and Falcon aren't good at all and Jeep, Spider and Big A struggle.

Code: Select all
Manger   +   -   equal
Jeep..   2   9   0
spider   2   8   1
Dale..   0   10   1
Doug..   4   4   3
Lance.   10   1   0
Gbrook   5   6   0
Falcon   0   11   0
Stoney   5   4   2
Big A.   3   7   1
Semper   4   4   3
Smokey   9   0   2
JTJ…    6   3   2

I haven't spent any time comparing to reality so feel free to poke holes or extol the virtues of these ratings.... :)

My guess is that you factor injury ratings into the expected advantages/disadvantages. While my team has many injury days, they have not been as high as expected and have hit more on lower impact players.

Well, injuries factor in to the overall ratings which are going to affect the ratings in each park. So, to be more clear on what I did, I got the ratings for every team in each park, then I compared the matchups for the home team to all its visitors. That's what gave the above.

One other thing about injury teams. The ratings are calibrated for backups at the 80 mil level. Obviously, in many cases, they are better in a 100 mill league than in an 80.

FWIW, My team is constructed to account for injury prone players. For instance, I have a Carrara/Renfro platoon to back-up Harper, which they are doing currently during Harper's (not unexpected) 15 gamer.

Great example Jeep. So, your rating would get a small bump if the ratings were recalibrated for $100 mil backups.

I tried to build cover for injury-prone Gallo (1B), Donaldson (3B), and Harrison (2B) with LaStella and Rojas. Turns out Seager has had about as much down time as the others, so Rojas has filled in there.

Geoff's been having a nice run and may be moving into the playoff picture. He moved over .500 and has a positive run differential.

Yeah, unfortunately I was a part of that run last night. Got swept at home, completely throttled by his pitching. :(

That really hurts. We're six out of a playoff spot and showing no signs of putting together a consistent run. We're doing Ok, but just not as good as the other playoff contenders.

Luck Factors.

Here they are. According to this Lance and Jeep are the luckiest and JTJ and Stones at the other end.

Lance - Plus on singles, big time on one runners (15!!!!), pythag dif and injuries.
Jeep - Same as lance on one runners.

JTJ- Brutalized on bphrs to the tune of 12% fewer :!: Also bad luck on unearned runs. These balanced somewhat by good rolls on his hitter's cards.

Stones - down in pythag and injuries.

others
Semper - HRs and rolling on his card back, but not good on bpsi
Big A - lots of ups (bpsi, injuries, unearned runs) and downs on runners (-19  :o :!: :!: ) and pythag.
GB - unlucky in both BPs, but good in unearned runs.
