Yea, I just overlooked him and just took someone else as a filler (6) instead of (5) at the top of my draft page.I guess just wasn't paying attention. Didn't matter that McFarland was picked up, no harm no foul. Just an honest mistake..No need to get anything in a twist..
Well, as long as you put McFarland at the top of your waiver choices I would agree because Spider put him as his number one choice and got him over you. However, if you didn't put him as your number one, or because Spider took McFarland, you got Scherzer instead of Jeep. So there sort of *was* a "foul". That's what he was pointing out.
Jeep was cool about it and didn't ask for a fix, but what happened was less than optimal. It's something we'll have to keep in mind going forward and reinforce when we get to the end of the draft.
You're certainly not the first guy to leave someone off their draft list. It's happened before and will likely happen again.
