Spent the night chatting with Alex Cora - I forgot to ask him about my SoM draft picks

Rounds 10+ are the tough rounds given the remaining salary cap balance

I've debated whether to fill full-time roles or pick for depth - multi-tooled bench players who get maybe 200+ PAs.

Semper, very cool.

Jeep, remember that GB is a West Coast (or at least Mountain time) guy and that it's tax season so he's a bit stretched right now.

Speaking of which I've had a crazy morning. Once I catch up, I will pick.

Pick made.

I was right that you guys might take a catcher, but I sort of think you weren't going to take the guy I took.

Catchers are on a run right now.....

You had to be referring to Jeep as he took my pick too. I've got to stop thinking about my picks cause I know someone is reading my telepathic waves

From my vantage point, this draft timing and flow as been great.

Including last season NLD drafts, the pace has been fantastic. I'm very happy with operational improvement. Moreover, the league owner composition is top flight competition which makes the live drafting a game within the game.

I intend to participate more this season despite on the brink of taking the CEO reigns of a large SWFL manufacturing corporation. Amazing what a divorce will do for your baseball availability

Semper, looking forward to having you around more and also glad that you'll actually be managing your team since you won it all with out touching the last one, I figure you're certain to mess this team up! ;)

Congrats on the new position! Not sure how much time you'll have, however, if you're the CEO!

Sorry for the delay, made my pick and ran off to lunch.

Is it that my eyes are going bad but did I see that Boog Powell is playing?

Boog has to be nearing 80 years old these days.

Of course, I did a double take when I saw B Suter and K Giles (not B Giles)
