I updated our old rules for the new "Glory Days" League at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... 1185175145

The only changes are:
- Blending in our old 2008 and 2010 season edits into the main text
- Updating the comments on game engine rules for recent Strat changes

The only significant change is the timing. As I re-wrote the opening paragraph, I realized that the 2024 card set would be available long before we end the playoffs for the 2023 season:

We will begin with the 2007 season and then move forward, one season at a time, up to the 2024 season. It is anticipated that we will play almost continuously – with only a brief break between seasons – and thus play 3 seasons in 2021, 4 seasons in 2022, 2023, and 2024, and the final 3 seasons in 2025. It is NOT anticipated at the present time that this would become a "standard" keeper league after that.

Absolutely! I just copied the original structure into the new rule set, as a way to shorten the time spent in that initial draft. I would be open to drafting all rounds.

Original league rules read as follows:

INITIAL DRAFT
1) The initial draft is a 21 round live draft, the order to be determined by a randomizer run anonymously in the main Strat chat thread.
2) Rounds 1 through 20 are for players.
3) Round 21 is for the stadium. Order of stadium selection will be the reverse of that of the first round of the initial draft.
4) Only those players who were issued Strat cards for the 2007 season and appear on Strat's website are eligible for the initial draft.
5) The initial draft is serpentine.
6) Draft picks are tradeable.
7) All drafts will be conducted with no clock for the first round, a 2-hour clock for rounds 2 through 5, and a 1-hour clock for later rounds. If an owner fails to draft within the allotted time, the next person is free to make a pick. The owner who was skipped may make his/her pick at any time, choosing from the players not yet picked.

9) The draft will be completed online via the league's ILC chat thread. INITIAL WAIVERS & FRENZY
