ABOUT-FACE LEAGUE

Let's do a 180 and advance to the rear, by starting with the 2019 card set and then working our way back in time to 2007. Same rules as in the current league, other than that. I've never done a reverse retro keeper before and think it might be fun.

What do others think?

I just got into this League last year. The Reason I did was to be in a Keeper League, 07 to 19. I would not be in favor of doing this League bass ackwards. Joe

That’s a great idea. Thanks, Terry. Sounds like a lot of fun. It’s definitely going to be interesting to see who’s available in the draft each year. The main thing for me is that it stays as a 24 team league. I’m not interested in going back to only 12.

while not in favor i will be regardless because of the owners in this league. .if it drops to 12 i will not be in,not interested in that. I would like to start at 2020 just so we get to use new set if we go this way. I would really prefer starting in 2010 or 2011 and going forward to 2024 that is my #1 vote. Regardless im in and thanks to the commish for putting up with us for another 3 years.

One of the options we had discussed was starting a few years later than 2007 so we would not be just doing a repeat of the 2007-19. Plus that way you get some sets in the last 3-4 years we haven't seen yet. While doing 2019-07 throws a curve into things, we would still be playing the same sets we just finished. I'm willing to play regardless but I was wondering if we could at least have a vote unless it becomes obvious from people posting that the majority want to go the about-face route.

I would vote for a 2010-2022 set in that order- based on comments by oldmansmith.
If we vary the original plan by too much we may lose some owners.

This is tcochran's creation, so maybe he could put two or more options out there and we could vote...

I like both of these suggestions -- the 2010-22 set would be good, but having other options would be nice. I don't really like the reverse year sequence all that much.

Would prefer to have a beginning year rather than reverse.....trying to plan some unknown long term in with 24 teams made a nice challenge

I like the 2010/11 start. However, if the league votes positive for a different proposal, that's ok too. I'm all in. I enjoy this league.

I am not too sure about the reverse idea. Like the thought of restarting with 2010/11 as a better option. Would consider other options as well.
