because of the pandemic?? this is something quite a few leagues have adopted as a one time consideration due to the unprecedented circumstances. it’s a little unfair to lose a 2019 prospect by cutting them or being forced to keep them on the forty man since there was no minor league season & this also goes for the 2020 prospects as well.
We extended prospects for a year, so you do not need to promote prospects this year. We are continuing to hold a draft this year. Some of us might come up against a roster limit as a result.
