I remember quite vividly the Michigan State game against Syracuse in our 2000 Championship run. I was in Vegas at the time and we were down by like 7 or 8 at half and I was not feeling very good. We came out in the 2nd half and just went nuts. I also won a nice little sum on that game. I remember it was also like a home game being played at the Palace of Auburn Hills, which is less than a hour from East Lansing.

Yeah, State's coach Tom Izzo, usually has that team ready to go come tourney time, they play a tough early season schedule and usually take some lumps but are also usually the stronger for it. Boeheim leans the other way, and schedules cupcakes for the first 10 or 12 games and I think that sometimes bites us in the ass. Of course when you are playing in arguably the best conference every year I guess you have to get the win total up one way or another.

What small town in Wisconsin? I once dated a girl from Twin Lakes. I don't hate the Badgers, but I am definitely not a fan. We/Spartans have had a lot of big battles against the Badgers in both basketball and football. I guess that fact that my sister went to Wisconsin and I had some great times visiting there, lessens my feelings towards their sports teams.

Gre up in Bancroft, last 10 years in Wild Rose.....A few years in Daytona and briefer stops in Lake Mills, Madison and Windsor. So mostly in central part of Wisconsin.

Is Twin Lakes by Kenosha?

Badgers are at 19 straight tournaments so always hoping they get in......And Sparty doesn't....Haha.
