Well Congrats Spider, we ran out of luck. Rodriguez hits a big HR, and to shell Syndergaard with your lineup is hard to do, but you did it. You hit him harder than we hit Martinez with six LHB versus three for you. Such is SOM. Getting stymied by Morin doesn't make it any easier.

We scored four runs which should have been enough for Noah, but it wasn't. You have a good team, but I really thought we had an advantage in this last game. Such is the luck of the dice. :( You rolled three bphr on your own cards and we only had two. That's the difference.

Hawk beats Semper in 12 innings in game 7. Talk about a close series.

GL in the finals you two.

Whew! That was a tense game to watch. Luck was on my side when you hitters were up - especially in the late innings for rolls on my pitchers' cards. Two on my HRs came with right-handed hitters (Grichuk and Rodriguez). I was worried when you brought in Bowman, who has stymied my hitters throughout the playoffs - and did it again.

I'm gonna miss Turner for Game 1 in the finals - he's been golden so far. I need some more of that luck if I'm going to top Hawk.

Well, it's hard to beat luck - and I had that going my way in games 3 & 4. Turner - who had a great season and playoffs - had a game-winning RBI in the 8th in Game 3 and capped a 4-run 9th inning rally with another game-winner to take Game 4. This is my first NLD championship - whew!

Congrats Spider!

A blowout and then some late inning magic. Hawk, sorry it was over so quick, but at least you got a credit.

Who's in for the next round? Stoney cannot start until June 26, but it might take us that long to get set up anyway.

Doug won the season series with jeep, therefore he drafts after him.

VERY entertaining post-season. Despite missing out, it was still fun to follow. Congrats to all, especially Spider!

So when does the Bob Gibson Edition begin? (Or will it be an ode to Cecil Fielder?)

Ha Ha! You'll have to wait and see who gets the next Edition of the NLD! ;)

Falcon, the information is above. Perhaps you posted at the same time as me? We'll start once everyone checks in, the league gets setup and Stoney returns from his honeymoon on the 26th. If the league is set up, we could, perhaps, start with a rolling start with no clock before then as Stoney is pick 8, but let's see how it goes.
