Some notes:
A previously posted this was smoke's second NLD Ring. His first since #23!
JTJ/WM have the longest drought (#22) But they have posted a best record in each of the last three years and are tied for most best records with Silver.
Last time Stoney won 77 games he came back an won it all so... watch out next year!
Big A is riding a three straight playoff streak (guess he likes this cardset!) and 4 of five. In the previous 22 NLDs he has made the playoffs only thrice. Guess he's figured the NLD out!
GB not making the playoffs snapped a three straight stretch.
JTJ making the playoffs snapped a three straight missing stretch.
Hawk making the playoffs snapped a five straight missing stretch.
Longest current stretch is AT with four.
JTJ's best record pushed him into third place for best overall winning pct. GB is virtually tied with Silver for first.
Stones is close behind JTJ in winning pct.
Third best record wins for the 10th time, but the first time since nld #32. I don't have records on how many times the WC wins.
Any other thoughts?

I don't know if it's the card set or just that I have found the right strategy for me. Get a great pitching staff, get the best defense you can buy and hope for the Almighty to provide some offense ........
