There is a motion on the table to change General Rule 10. The new rule requires 16 votes to pass. The thought on proposing the rule is that it may add another layer of strategy on draft day. Is that unleashed player the real deal or a flash in the pan?

10) The regular SOMO card set (NOT unleashed) will be used.

Proposed new rule:
10) The unleashed card set will be used.

With 9 "no's" the proposed change cannot pass. If someone wants to propose for next year at any time, propose away. Given that the cards are now visible, they will likely "officially" drop pretty soon. Cuts will be due a week after and then FA draft will begin. Lots of action on the hot stove so far!

(1) if you are going to promote a prospect, you must do so BEFORE the free agent draft.

(2) if a prospect is carded for the 2nd time (for example Tyler Glasnow will be for me), you must promote player to be part of your 20 man roster prior to free agent draft or release him.

You cannot promote a prospect after the free agent draft. (Sole exception is if you make a trade that brings you under 30 rostered players.)
