Exactly my thinking Kev. The Lilly exclusion was the straw that broke the camel's back for me as well. Next year in the league I run, HCKL, we will be moving to unleashed.

And regarding the supposed super-majority clause, I think we need to let Niners make the call on that. I believe he was aware of that rule but called this vote as a simple majority very specifically. I support being flexible as we re-start given all the difficulties in getting this league up & running smoothly again.

Wow Dave you have finally come to Bill and my side of the fence My whole argument all along since the unleashed set was an option was the random exclusion and also inclusion of cards that has not made any sense for years welcome aboard to the unleashed groups way of thinking

CLARIFICATION: none of the issues that Niners tabled for vote are existing rules. So they don't require super majority. Niners is within commish rights to call a simple majority vote on those.

And Hawk - when I still believed that there was SOME threshold or logic to SOM's decisions on fluke cards to exclude, I was against unleashed set. But very clearly it's a moving target, and the Lilly one was the one that did it for me. The dude had 8 starts and 48 IP - almost 20 IP more than their supposed threshold for exclusion. Ridiculous.

Two of my 3 proposals are not rules "changes", they are simply additions and/or clarifications that needed to be addressed before we could even begin a draft.

There are no rules in place determining whether we can draft carded or uncarded players, nor is there a rule for Unleashed vs. Standard, I checked. And I wanted it made clear before we started and someone picked an uncarded guy, and there was confusion or complaints. I' just trying to cover all bases here.

I wanted simple majority rule so we could just get it on the books.

Are any of these rules going to present a problem for any of you/ will it prevent you from participating? If not then let me get to doing roster sheets, preparing a draft-able players list and get this thing rolling.

I am fine with the changes or new rules, and seem to have voted for all those that had a majority, but I did not want anyone in the league to feel they had been steamrolled by anyone.

MOST important to me, though, is that I am grateful to Niners for reviving the league and his calls have HUGE merit in my opinion!

ASIDE to Qk--- I look forward to the Unleashed HCKL.
