There will be a slightly longer Off Season than usual this time as my current schedule won't allow enough time until I return from vacation 5/10/13, but we can get some of the pre-draft things done and be ready to go.
LA-Z-BOY’S LEAGUE XLV FORMAT
Please read as rules have been stream lined even further, clock will be used as follows 4 hours (Rounds 1-2), 3 hours (Rounds 3-4), 1 hour (Rounds 5-15) we have to try to avoid and minimize long delays without a pick because proxies aren't used. Its just not fair to the managers that make their pick on-time or have proxies set if they aren't going to be around. The diamonddope system is easy to use and if there is a question please ask. We no longer have a Quick Draft since the larger player pool has made it increasingly more difficult to get everyone together for a Friday Live draft.
We will use the diamonddope site, if I can get everyone registered (if new players join). Should there be any problems, we'll revert back to our old drafting method, here on ILC.
We will use these revised LA-Z-BOY Rules with the draft lasting up to a nine day period. The drafting time with 6 hour clock is to accommodate the varied work schedules we have but allows for the draft to move on after 6 hours. Guys please remember the draft has its ebbs and flows and sometimes due to work schedules and computer availability there are longer breaks between picks than everyone might like. With the 6 hour clock proxies will have to be used but should lead to a more predictable number of picks per day.

League will use the ATG VII Historical Version of SOM Game, Advanced, 100MM CAP, Frenzy, and 5/10/20 drop rule. Original LA-Z-BOY formula.
We can start drafting rounds beginning Tuesday 5/14/2013 on diamonddope or as soon as we are ready to draft. Our Frenzy Friday will be 5/24/2013.
We will use the randomizer to determine draft order
Your Availability will be required (if you have not loaded your team) on Friday evening, 5/24/2013 for the team loading and Frenzy. (About a 1 to 1.5 Hour Commitment) If you are unable to make this commitment please do not join this league. Additional note team loading will start at the end of the player draft on diamonddope but Frenzy will be Friday 5/24/2013 so all can participate. Frenzy can be moved with agreement of the League
League Opening Day will be Monday 5/27/2013
League Draft will consist of 8 to14 slow draft rounds and one stadium, again to be determine by flow of the draft. Draft will always end on an even round to be fair to all. No matter what player and stadium draft will be concluded Thursday evening 5/23/2013
Stadiums will be UNIQUE, diamonddope has been updated so we can make stadium pick there on a first come, first served basis after Round 8.
ALL TEAMS will be entered in the league by Friday, 6:00 PM ET, 5/24/2013, NO EXCEPTIONS!!!, with Frenzy to follow (11:05 PM ET.).
All drafted players are to be put on the BOTTOM OF YOUR DRAFT LIST.
NEW!!!!!!!!Division Assignments will be by Strat's Randomizer option, this will eliminate the problem of having to wait on any one particular team, except of course if it's the 12th team that will close out the League
I know every possible situations is not covered in the rules but any decisions that have to be made will be made as fairly as possible
Lastly everyone is to have fun and may we have another fun filled season of LA-Z-BOY Baseball.
