Sorry guys, I had a pretty crazy month of work.

Turtle - strongly recommend ditching the Supp draft. The season is nearly over, and Supp draft is intended to carry risk of only having 1/2 season of stats to draft from. At this point it's just an extension of next year FA draft.

In other leagues I am involved in, we are giving some comp picks to anyone who traded for Supp picks already, but ditching the Supp draft & moving to season 2.

Are we planning on starting the draft this week? I have school trip this weekend and will be unavailable from Friday until Tuesday. I can give some proxies if we need to get moving.

thanks.

I agree with QK that we should scrap the supplemental and move forward with League #2. It will also make the FA draft that much better next year.

OK, both commishes agree to drop the supplemental draft, so it is gone for this season. It was always super spare anyway in a 24 team league. WE

Glad you're back Turtle. I hope everything turned out well for you.

It's more meaningful for teams that don't do so well.

I agree with the ditching of the supp draft. At this point, with the MLB regular season nearing it's conclusion, the supp draft would almost be a partial replacement of the spring free agent draft. Since we are not permitted to trade these mid-season supp picks anyway, it just makes sense to eliminate it this year.

Do we want to do a roll-call, just to make sure we only need two replacements?

Just a thought.

As an "owner" who is near the beginning of my 13 year rebuilding program, I just want to say that I am OK with ditching the supplemental draft. ;)

I agree that we should skip the supplemental. We need to find out if any replacement owners are needed (I'm IN) and play our 2nd season.
