Why don't we open the discussion for comment for now. I'll post a proposed rule change and a formal roll call for vote after there has been an opportunity for folks to weigh in with their thoughts

Sounds good to me Cal.

thanx,

I think that we should have some option to change stadiums if the stadium stats change at least +/- 2 for any of the single or HR ratings.

One of the things that make this league unique is that you have to "buy your house and then live in it" ... but if there are changes beyond our control, we should have a stadium draft for those that are affected by the change.

My 2 cents. Thanks.

I'm ok with changing stadiums at a prescribed clip. I also don't want to impose a burden on Cal to track all of this. I'll likely vote for whatever the consensus is.

I err toward a specific number of years before a change, and/or the change must be made during the FA draft. I'd prefer not to have owners changing willy-nilly to suit their team each year.

I'd be fine changing stadiums also at some prescribed clip ... not every year.

I have zero opinion on the stadium matter and am fine with whatever the league wants. I guess I'm opposed to something that would be akin to another yearly draft of stadiums if the bar was set too low, but whatever.

I think we should be able to change stadiums once every 3 years, but I would be amenable to a disclaimer about extreme changes. However, I don't think +/- 2 is a drastic change. I can see where Camden Yards would fit the bill this year, so I'd be more in line with a disparity of +/- 6 if anything at all. However, that change would count as your one change in 3 years and start the clock anew for you.

All things considered I’m more in favour of the “drastic change” idea, but would have to determine the parameters.
Also Year to year may not be “drastic”, but over the course of 3-4 might be.
Hard to police.
