And the beat goes on...

Just sent the following email to Strat support:

Ted Lasso League is an 18-team league that runs in 3 divisions (separate 6-team leagues in Strat).

In the Premier Division, which finally loaded last night, one of our managers, thisiray, had been very slow to respond, so another manager, oldmansmith2, stepped in to load Ray's team.

Naturally, Ray popped up this morning and is interested in getting the team back. Can you:
a. Transfer Ray Ray's English Rays from oldmansmith2 to thisisray? and
b. Move a credit from thisisray to oldmansmith2?

Thanks!

Thanks to oldmansmith (who is likely younger than a couple others in this group) for being willing to step in. Good to see Ray back in the mix. Hope all is well with him.

No problem. He probably will want to make his own supplemental pick as well.

Padrenurgle1/Plaguemaries led the Premier Division wire-to-wire, improving from a tie-breaker loss for the title in the previous season. And that was in a remarkably well-balanced division, with only an 11-game gap in wins, from top to bottom.

For those who don't seek out the separate league pages, highlights were as follows:

PREMIER DIVISION

88-74 padrenurgle1/Plaguemarines
82-80 Spider 67/Conquest
82-80 jodynadu
79-83 baseball cfo
78-84 jflatour99 - to AAA next season
77-85 thisisray - to AAA next season

Team results in Premier showed a huge change in batting from the previous season, with team OPS up to .732 (vs. .706 in MLB), and ERA/WHIP falling to 4.10/1.28 (vs. 3.96/1.27). 222 HR/team was again the team batting highlight (vs. 174 in MLB).

Individual highlights included Jose Altuve winning the batting title at .304 (the only qualified batter above .300) and MVP Yordan Alvarez leading in runs (115), homeruns (52), RBIs (136), and OPS (1.032), with Luis Castillo earning the CYA with 19 wins.

AAA DIVISION

93-69 Rant - to Premier next season
91-71 oldmansmith2 - to Premier next season
89-73 tcochran
87-75 ironwill1
67-95 Spider 67/Brew - to AA next season
59-103 jmlopp/Warriors - to AA next season *

Team pitching remained stable in AAA, with team OPS of .715 and ERA/WHIP of 3.90/1.30. HR/team remained stable, too, at 184.

MVP Aaron Judge easily won that honor, leading the league in runs (120), homeruns (70), and RBIs (172), while Will Brennan won the batting title at .348. Dylan Cease won the CYA with an 18-9 record.

AA DIVISION

118-44 Terry101 - to AAA next season
108-54 padrenurgle1/Carjackers - to AAA next season
77-85 jmlopp/Mafia *
75-87 baseball cfo
60-102 tcochran/Bums
48-114 unctarheel

AA had a season of haves and have-nots, with 2 teams wth more than 100 wins and 2 teams with more than 100 losses. Team batting fell to an OPS of .684, as team pitching improved again to ERA/WHIP of 3.56/1.19, and still only 190 HR/team.

Pete Alonso won MVP with 58 HRs, 164 RBIs, and OPS of .932, while Garrett Mitchell won the batting title at .323 and reliever Evan Phillips won the CYA with an ERA of 1.28 in 189 IP.

* one of jmlopp's 2 teams will be available in the next season, since they will be in the same division
