i just went over the stadiums in this league and... how are my Pink Raptors the ONLY TEAM in the league that plays in a pitcher's park? Has it always been that way? So weird.

Anyway, not for long... the Mono Black Zombies will move into a wasteland, too.

We will take Tropicana Field if lakeviewdave doesn't. If he takes it, we'll take PNC Park.

After the free agent draft is confirmed completed, and before the prospect draft, The Menethil Bay Pink Raptors are making these roster moves:

1. RELEASE Huascar Ynoa
2. RELEASE Steven Duggar
3. PROMOTE Royce Lewis from prospect to 40-man roster
4. PROMOTE Riley Greene from prospect to 40-man roster

This leaves two prospects (Max Meyer and Marcelo Mayer) and two open prospect spots.

Sorry, drops are only allowed prior to the free agent draft.

You could have promoted Lewis and Greene before making your last 2 FA picks, however those spots are now filled.

Congratulations on a successful draft! I'm still not sure how I feel about the new draft timing, however I can confirm that it did not really slow us down overall.

Yes, there were a few longer gaps, when some managers raced through their picks and others waited to check in at their prescribed time slots. On the other hand, though, we never had to wait 2 hours while somebody's turn progressed. The maximum wait during a turn was 1 hour.

In any case, here's the timing for the 3 most recent draft:
6/1 - 6/9/2020, for a total of 9 days
6/1 - 6/9/2021, for a total of 9 days
6/20 - 6/29/2022, for a total of 10 days, including 9 extra picks for roster interventions

With similar duration and less skips, I must admit that this draft format is not bad at all. It creates maybe less frustration. If some managers add thé habit of proxying to that formula, it will be even nicer.

I want to know now if I can keep those 4 prospects in the prospect slots, but can choose to either release them, keep them as prospects or make room for them on the 40 prior to the prospect draft.

Is that correct?

That is correct. If you do not free up a spot, though, then you will forfeit your pick in the prospect draft.

Whoa… that’s a nightmare. This is why I checked before the free agent draft started by asking specifically if I could promote those players prior to the prospect draft. I understood your response “yes“ to mean that I could do that. You mentioned freeing up a spot but do not attach it to a timeframe. I planned to do this every step of the way…

The prospect draft is the best way to get career stars on your teams. I thought this double check was sufficient.
