Time to replace the 1977 set.

Since the news feed was covering my game scores I noticed the 1977 set has used up it's 6 months.

I emailed strat a while ago that this set has lasted a lot longer than the others.... and when would a change be coming. Response just basically said yep, you're right and then didn't answer when a new one was coming or any hints at what it would be. Worried that they'll just keep '77 since they've basically had all those cards in the ATG set forever anyway.

Should we be surprised that they said it would be today, and we still don't know what the new/retro set will be?

it's the 1964 season.... pretty sweet

Yes, very pleased with the choice of season. I was dreading we were going to get another steroid era set

Yes, I'm in favor of the older teams set being selected also.

Have noticed a few oddities about it though:

The Kansas City A's are referred to as the 1911 NY Giants.
Most of the relief pitchers are 1.00 or less..
